McCoy's is limp, but has less strength for diameter than many other nylon monofilament lines.

The harder fluoros aren't going to do well on a 2000 size spool. The finesse fluoros will have more stretch and be less sensitive than non-finesse versions. I would go with those or mono if you are not fishing bottom contact lures. I would fish Sniper if you are fishing bottom contact lures. One line doesn't do all of the different applications justice if you are a true enthusiast, but a finesse fluoro will put you in the middle of the spectrum.
