The title of that video, "How to tie on a *basic* drop shot rig", is peak Aaron Martens. I thought "basic" meant just doing a Palomar :lol: Gonna try this one, though. Looks like you lose a bunch of leader on each re-tie due to the loop that you snip off?

Saw another video where the person took the lines which cinch on the sides of the eye and pulled them to the top so no line in the gap. Works great but have to be more detailed when you cinch it.
