It definitely makes a difference for me. Prior to the YGK Admix, I tried a spool of Seaguar Smackdown in hi-viz green, and even when new I didn't like the visibility in certain light conditions. Since Berkley Tracer is so much cheaper and more readily available, I'd probably recommend trying that out first to see if the contrast of multi-colored braid works well for you.

I wish more companies would keep the braid the natural "white" color, that would be less of a mess and dye into the waters.
