Varivas Nylon Line
Browsing the website, they have a ton of nylon lines. There's a dozen I'm curious about and want to try one, but I have no idea where to start. I'm looking for something to throw cranks and top water around 1/4oz and 3/8oz. I fish a lot of rip rap and chunk rock. I see they have some floating mono lines as well. Which line might be a good one to start with?

Following...I assume you're looking for a nice alternative to Sunline Defier?

I might suggest just starting by trying their ‘Varivas Bass’ nylon line. It’s a fairly new release. I haven’t tried it myself but I did try some shock leader from Varivas last year for beach and pier fishing as an alternative to the seaguar gold label and I was highly impressed. I don’t think they make a bad product. Seems like the champagne of lines.

Thank You . I ordered two 150m spools of the 12lb Bass nylon, and two 100m spools of the Super Soft nylon. They have a lot of good looking nylon lines. I plan to try a few of their fluoros next.Polkfish1 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 6:25 pmI might suggest just starting by trying their ‘Varivas Bass’ nylon line. It’s a fairly new release. Re: Varivas Nylon Line
I love the varivas low stretch twitchmaster nylon for trout, panfish and ultralight bass fishing. I too have been contemplating trying their other mono lines except for a topwater setup. The two Im most interested in are the Big trout Katchi-Iro and the Super Trout Advance Big Trout which looks very similar to twitchmaster. Hoping its the same thing in higher LB test.
