Megabass Trick/Rocket Darter
Megabass Trick/Rocket Darter
Hi fellow tackle tour members,
Can anyone list the differences between these two baits if any? I tried looking on the the Megabass USA site
but they don't list the Rocket Darter anymore.
Thanks,
Frank

Re: Megabass Trick/Rocket Darter
if i recall correctly, the Rocket Darter sinks while the Trick Darter suspends
or
The Rocket Darter suspends while the Trick Darter floats..
but I"m pretty sure it's the first scenario

The Rocket Darter suspends while the Trick Darter floats..

I love the Trick Darter, great bait. Never fished the Rocket Darter.
Re: Megabass Trick/Rocket Darter
I bought one off ebay once. It was listed as the Trick Darter but it sank, so I assume it was the Rocket Darter. I only got to use it once on a trip to Lake Mead where it caught me a few Stripers. Unfortunately, after that, I had it with my JDM UL baits that I left at a lake. All those baby griffons, x-55s, x-70s are gone now.

I'm sure it was a trick darter. They sink too...just not as fast. Supposed to suspend..best when worked without much of a pause.

The trick darter suspends. I have done well on it. Just hard to take off the 110 to put it on Good bait though in high pressure/clear water situations where you need something to match the hatch perfectly
