Same for me. I also like the old version Excalibur before that they made before the current Zell Pop edition. The other two are good all around poppers and can walk with the best of them. The old version I like to fish slow and it makes that Bloop sound and at times really aggravates the bass.

If the fish are aggressive and I'm in open water - Dairitsu / Kanji International - Yellow Magic

If I'm fishing a small inlet or near docks in calm water I pull out my Fenwick Methods Chug n Bait. This is what I call
a finnesee top water popper if there is such a thing. Trying to find one is pretty tough as they've been discontinued
for a while.
