Anyone try these, by luck e strike? or see any differences from MB 110's aside from the cosmetics?

Seems to be a good alternative, especially at 7.99. :-k

Right on, just what I was looking for. Still a little surprised that it was in the Enthusiast and import section?

Since the other thread got closed, I'll post here about my experience with the LS STX. Finally got to fish it today on a lake with a good jerk bait bite going. Had a GREAT day with it. The big fish loved it. Here's the biggest girl, just over 8lbs. 8lb fish do NOT grow on trees here in NW Ark, so it's quite a prize. My biggest fish this year by about 1/2lb.

6lb Pline Flouroclear, Stella reel, Loomis SJR783 GLX rod. Pro Blue STX, completely stock except hooks were sharpened. I did break one barb off the rear treble on the 8lber. But I've busted hooks on the 110's, too. I switch all the hooks out now, but wanted to fish the STX stock once just to see.

Guy in the front of the boat was fishing an Ima Flit, and was also catching fish. He eventually switched to the MB Vision 110 and did catch fish on it, too. But the 2 biggest fish of the day came on the STX.

So I'm pretty impressed with the STX at this point, as you can imagine. I'll for sure be buying more of them to go with, and probably eventually replace, all my 110's.

Great pics!!!
Looks like big bass got tired of Megabass 110, and bites on STX now :)
But I still going to buy the ORIGINAL only.

Nice fish! My buddy was fishing one of these a few days ago, he didn't hook into anything, but it suspended very well and the action was stellar.

That is AWESOME!!! I'm glad to see an open mind, I have a few 110's I bought 2 years ago and I got 2 Hi Float 110's and I really like them, in fact the Hi Float I got was to compare with my floating Rogues, I wanted to see how well they did side by side. The 110's did well but not really better than the rogues but there is one thing it did great, and that was catch cold water bass! The 110 Hi Float is the only floating style jerkbait that I ever caught fish with in cold water and I have tried others. Now with that said, a person would have to have either an incredible amount of disposable income or be extremely stubborn not to try the RC STX at 8 bucks or less, I know I'm going to get a few and if they work as well great, if they work ok then the 110s still have their place but I'll have another bait to use when I'm out, either way it is a win but it would be great to get a fantastic jerkbait that flat out catches fish without paying a fortune for them, and for me it'll be nice to get 2 or 3 of each color instead of 2 baits of 1 color and wait a few months and then 2 more of another...lol. Thanks for the review Jeb, and nice fish, really nice!!

i suspect a bunch of 110's are going to flood the market pretty soon especially knockoffs from other mfg's.

sour grapes anyone

people should stop holding Yuki's nuts and let the baits do the talking. :-({|=

Almost forgot nice fish jeb!

I guess fish cant tell the difference.

Or respect for the creator of such an amazing bait...

I don't see why I should help fund a company that has no problem blatantly ripping off others.

Do you fish any other stick worm besides the Gary Yamamoto senko? How about paddle tails, are you only using Basstrix? Everything gets copied, and I applaud you that you have the conviction of sticking with an original and I agree it isn't a great thing ripping off anothers idea but there are differences. I personally like the 110s myself but I feel they are overpriced and I'm happy there is a reasonable alternative, I could buy the 110s but buying 2 takes a good portion of what I spend on new baits every year and it isn't like it'll put megabass out of business because you have to be an enthusiast or tourney angler to pay that much for a lure and I suspect the Luck E Strike STX will be treated as a knockoff and those that buy Megabass will continue to do so. I know I will buy a few of the STX just to use in waters I won't throw my 110s in due to toothy fish, it seems muskies like pointers and 110s as much as the anglers do and I hate losing them like that. To date, I've lost 5 pointers to Muskies and almost lost a 110 but the fish came unbuttoned otherwise that would have been gone too. Like I said, I agree someone ripping off an idea is rotten but it happens and it will continue to happen and there are those that will switch but for the most part those that can afford the megabass will continue to do so and just treat the knock off as nothing more, and for me it is a win win as I have a bait that I can afford to lose to the toothy critters, and I apologize if I upset you in any way.
