I have come to love BIGGIE! R2S Ish Monroe series that crankbait is awesome!
Re: Favorite 6 ft or less square bill
Rapala Crankin' Rap in Red Crawdad color. I love the translucent paint job, caught tons of fish on it, and is extremely durable.

Next time your tinkering with those baits- take a dremel & turn the bill into a coffin bill on one of those LC's then add a little feathered hook(thin out some of the feathers) on the back.Nitroman77 wrote:TH KUSTOMS

KVD 1.5s
Never done it on the 1.5's only the bigger body models, but it should give the same effect.
Probably would work on the KVD as well.
Practice the bill cuts/angles on cheap RC's till you find the wiggle you like. I've got a box full of Frankencrank RC's. They make nifty little wakebaits. topwater wobblers to

Spooky Baits- Check out the LC RC Wake Action... They're right up the same alley as the modded 1.5's.

My favorite is the Lucky Craft RC series with Strikeking a close second. Seen a lot of good reviews on Tackle Warehouse for the 6th Sense Crush 50X , anyone use these baits ?

Just ordered a bunch hoping to try them soon. Initial impressions are very positive! Paint job is really nice and the hook seem top notch!primus wrote:My favorite is the Lucky Craft RC series with Strikeking a close second. I hate to admit it but the 1 that works the best for me is belive it or not is the Cabelas (pork chop) in Cha-Ching. Keep in mind I own just about every kind of 0-6ft bait you can name.

Norman Mad N, Thin N, and Fat Boy. The gelcoat finishes are insanely tough banging off rocks and anything else. KVD 2x short triple grips. Wish there was some silent versions though.
These are my rocky river smallie baits when I don't want to mangle my Megabass/LC's...and when I'm in areas with lots of toothy critters.
