XPOD

Post by CJVDH » Sun Jan 05, 2014 3:02 pm

I ordered a few XPOD's on my recent TW order from the other day and have been eyeing up the XPOD's for this up coming season but was looking for some input on all the different settings it has and which are best for certain conditions. I am also going to be throwing this on 50-60# sunline fx2 braid can I tie directly or do I need to tie a loop knot or use a snap? I am still a little unsure about that part of it. I was also considering getting the smaller version XPOD 1/2 oz. model ..... for those of you that have both or have fished with both which do you prefer? Thanks

Thanks for the help man ... does the same help vs. tying directly? I am using FX2 braid.

I doubt it helps. I'm kinda lazy to retie lures all the time, this is only why I use a snap, it's just quicker.
With tying directly you shouldn't have any issues, might be even better action.

one of my favorite topwater baits. i generally use a snap, because i'm lazy to retie. i use it a lot in the number 2 setting.
