Favorite Jerkbait NOT named LC or Megabass

Post by Nektarios » Tue Jan 07, 2014 10:36 am

Just wondering what other people are using out there.
I have LC's and Megabass 110's. Also like X-Raps and OSP

Thanks

Bomber suspending long A (think that is what it is called)
Smithwick rogues are pretty good
Spro McStick

I don't jerkbait much but the jerkbaits above are definitely quality jerkbaits.

Summer- Rapala X-rap 08
Winter- Jackall Squad Minnow 95 and DD Squirrel 79sp
McStick is a pretty good 110 substitute

RC STX is the top of the list for sure. A great fish catcher. The Spro McStick works well around here, too. Next would be Ima Flit's.

Rapala X-Rap XR 10, glass ghost and clown and great ones. I'm also a big fan of Smithwick Rogues in clown, and tiger minnow which is not a fire tiger color, far from it. Those 2 have been great but I'm also liking the Storm Twitch Stick which I used for the first time last year and it is getting bit a lot!!

Xrap, Smithwick Rogue, and SK Wildshiner used to be my favorites and than LC and MB took over.

I have. It's labeled as a floating jerk bait, but it's definitely more of a suspending type. Pretty good action and it is a dead ringer for a 110. Best of all its $6!

Does that lure have a weight transfer system?
Rogues are nice but casting one leaves something to be desired. They do catch fish though but long casts are nice. Most jerkbaits I fish now need a weight transfer system inside.
Edit: Nevermind, saw the other thread and the ghost color pictured seems to have one. Good stuff
