Duo Spinbait Hooks?

Post by joeim8 » Sat Jul 18, 2015 2:59 am

Anyone know what kind and size of hooks come with the Duo Realis Spinbait 80 & 80 Gfix lures? I am basically trying to figure out if the hooks that come with them are easily available and then if not what hooks would be good replacement without affecting the action of the bait?

Thanks

Do you guys work this bait like a spinnerbait, or jerbait, or jigging spoon, or?
Just saw one for the first time yesterday

Actually, none of the above. You cast it out, count down to a desired depth, and reel it back in. That's it. It is essentially the dropshot of hardbaits. A depth targeted, minimal presentation that doesn't do much except push a little water and flash a little chrome.
Great on suspending fish. Wish I had a few with me today...

I haven't had any trouble with the stock hooks that come on them as they are very sharp and hold up well.

I read a tip where you cut off the very front protruding hook to reduce snags and allow you to throw in wooded cover.
