At 3/4 oz that may be possible, but I can't help but wonder how the action/running depth is impacted.

I personally look forward to this Big M 4.0 this one in GLX Ito Gill to imitate perch(pattern and profile) and in a personal favorite range in 2oz

Hopefully this will provide advertised depth. I dug the grenades(more of a TW to me) but always wanted more depth without the overkill bill.

Got the big m 4.0 out for a bit today among some other baits. The Big M is a real joy to fish not tiresome at all, and has a nice action/shimmy, I was able to feel what it was doing quite nicely even on a big stick such as the Slant Bridge SD which also made it nice to get it to dive when I wanted to rip it. Had 65 lb PP with a 20lb FC topshot. You can really send this lure into to Outer Space if you wanted

Reel of the morning was the Scorpion XT 1501-7 geared down to 5.5. Quite beastly

It was hard to say for certain as the water here at Saggy was still stained quite a bit where i was. With the bill that isn't big I feel that it gets down there because I was ticking some structure/cover on some retrieves. Depending on if water is being taken in or out there is known depths. even though I was using heavy duty line combo I think this thing can get down as advertised if not more if you troll for instance.

The big M is a wonderful magnum crank at a reasonable price. I used it for pike and big walleye in Ontario Canada.

Another very nice JDM Magnum size crank is Imakatsu Bull Bison, it casts a bit further and goes through the weed more easily

Right on I definitely wish I were in waters hitting those type of predators not much left of Pike or Muskie. I don't believe here in my area although I hear New Mexico has got some nice action as well as on the way to Cali from my understanding. thanks for the heads up keep slayem' up there, I need to get my gear and head up to the Boundary Waters

I'll keep an eye out for that as I'm really enjoying this crank as it is not tedious to retrieve and of course gives a hell of a sexy profile with size and pattern!
