They are both worth having and great lures. The Ganteral has better action due to being 3 pieces instead of just 2. If you need a smaller profile though, the Giron may work better.

It depends. The Giron sinks and will sit upright on the bottom at the edge of a bed. The Gantarel floats, so it needs to be kept in motion more. They both can have a gliding quality and can walk and do 180 turns.
This is the way.

I have both and prefer the Giron but I use both. I think that's the answer!

For the Giron, I use a swivel connected to the snap.
So much line twist without the swivel and when it lands It tracks better with the swivel.
I've looked at the Gigantrel jr. myself but I hear that they were hit or miss with the quality of lure you get.
So I can't personally speak on the gigantrel but the Giron to sink TOO fast..
I went and got an Academy sports bait of the same size and it swims FAR better but I haven't thrown it that much.
