Jackall Pompadour (79mm)

Post by Slazmo » Thu Apr 25, 2019 12:04 am

Just wondering what others are doing with their larger Pompadour walking baits, when their rear treble rusts / wears out?

The hook is attached via a stainless steel barbell (looped at both ends), one end to the hook loop for life and the other attached to the body via a through screw which allows it to swing with the propeller whirring away while in use.

Wondering if people simply add a split ring to the existing bar end loop or make a triple gang of split rings and attach a new treble via that?? Or are you simply opening the barbell end and putting a new hook on and closing it up again?

Just curious as to what people are doing with theirs...?

Did you just cut the old hook off and use a couple of split rings?
This is the way.
