Lightning pointer SP

Post by FishEastCarolina » Tue Mar 31, 2020 7:55 pm

Got a question about the Lucky Craft lightning pointer SP. I was fishing it for the first time the other day and I swear it was floating when it landed in the water. It also seemed to be sorta high I. The water column from what I was expecting. Has anyone else noticed this? I coulda just been seeing things.

What is the difference In the Sp and the XR? I don’t even see the SP on their website.
new day the same way

In my experience it floats until you work it. Then it suspends at the depth you ripped it to. With some variation, of course - suspension stability in all jerkbaits depends on the water temperature. What line did you use? I'd expect it to be higher in the water column on braid and/or mono than on straight fluoro.

I just picked up a couple of these lightening pointers. Havent fished them yet, but the paint and overall quality is outstanding for $9.99.
