I just hope jackal re-releases the Bling 55 like they did with the MC60
X2, great cranks! I rarely fish mine around thick cover, because they are hard to find now.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

These are my favorites but I have learned a valuable lesson in the difference between the two..
the original ones have a sliding ball that helps in casting and they weigh a bit more.. so now im looking for the first generation

They’re both still being manufactured. The Spec II is just the silent version.

Mg threadfin is absolutely killer at Sinclair in the winter

I like the flat-side with a little bit circuit board lip for deeper diving. I like the HPF and HPF Spec II by OSP baits but I wish they ran just a little bit deeper. If I were just a little bit handier, I’d do an Ott Defoe and remove the OEM lip and replaced it with a long lip.
I sent a suggestion/request to OSP about it. I’m sure it’s right at the top of the “In Box”

Believe it or not, I get these to run about 8-9' by using straight braid instead of mono or flouro.

I’ll have to try that out then. I rigged up with 20 lb braid for some topwater stuff, I could use the same outfit for cranks.
