Jackall Rerange 110MR (a deep Rerange!?)

Post by bwjay » Mon Aug 10, 2020 11:46 am

Did anyone see these? I just found out about them in a TB tackle vid and had to order a few. This spring I was wishing my Reranges went just a little deeper to get closer to some beds in 6-10ft of water. My prayers have been answered!! Absolutely cannot wait to throw these puppies!

Could be cool, but the TW page says it only dive to 6-8 feet? That's shallower than a StaySee 90 or 110+1.

I think the regular 110 hits 6 feet without too much trouble but yeah, it would have been nicer to see 7-10ft as the depth range. I forgot to pick up a couple StaySee 90s but I just can't bring myself to spend the cash on the 110+1. I love the action of the Rerange and had an absolute blast in the spring with it, with smallies and largies, pike, and walleye all smashing it like it was going out of style. The new MR will be an improvement for getting down to deeper beds so even if it's not going to get around 10ft, I think it'll get the job done.

For regular depths around 4-7 feet, I don't use the 110 all that much, favoring Flash Pointers and Reranges (at least during the warmer months). They seem to work as well for less money. For deep-diving jerkbaits, I've found the 110+1 to be more reliable than the Staysee90. The latter often darts only in one direction for me, and also has a clear veer towards the left or right when reeled back up. The 110+1 seems much more consistent at darting back and forth instead of the same direction all the time.

If the MR is more reliable than the Staysee, and dives deep enough, I'd totally use it to replace the Staysee90.
