Kistler's Graphite Plus rods?

Post by bass50 » Fri Mar 02, 2007 9:24 am

I am looking at getting my first Kistler and was wondering if anyone has an opinion about the Kistler Graphite Plus Series.

Are they still fairly lightweight?
I know it is not going to be Helium light, but right now, my worm rod is a Falcon Original med heavy that is about 4 years old.

How is the sensitivity?

I am wanting to get one as a worm/jig rod.

Thanks for the help

I use a Graphite Plus 7'M Cranking Composite and I have no complaints. It is still a lightweight rod and I never have any questions or confusion about what my lure is bumping into under water. If you plan on using it for worming I would suggest saving a little longer and getting a Magnesium or a Helium if possible, as there is no question that these rods have the sensitivity you are looking for.
