request for rewiews

I'd like to throw my vote in for more mid-range reels and rods. I think the mid-range stuff most of us use every day has made huge improvements in the last few years. Comparing them to the higher end would be cool.

I would love to see a review of the Jackall Mask VIB70 mainly just because I've never seen or even heard of a soft crankbait before and I think it is a really cool idea.

I would like to see equiptment that one can realistically afford. Is that asking too much. I will probable never own a $400.00 plus rod. It would be good to experience but I don't see it in my future.

I'd like to see a review on the new FENWICK ELITE TECH, or even the Techna AV's.

I think that has been asked before. I own 3 MF AV's and think they're great and under-rated. I too would like to see a review on them (to see if I agree with the TT editors).

Well...

We're all still waiting on the Luna and now the HLC and Met Mg-2nd Gen/Core has joined the fray along with the new Revos.

Personally, I would love to see the BBS.

Rapala DTs are a great idea, which also begs us to consider yesterday's best lures vs todays per their repective categories, IE original floater vs JDM counterpart today.

Would be also very kool to go back 10, 15, 20 years and take Daiwa's, Shimano's, Abu's top end spinners/BCs and compare them with today's top-end offerings from these same companies. You could do a time line per each one per review...ie, the Evolution of Daiwa's top-end spinner or Shimano's top-end BC, or their general evolution in general. That would be way KOOL for us History Freaks!!

I would like to see another shootout between Shimano's mainstream offering versus Daiwa's. Reminisence of the famous Capricorn/Stradic shootout.

Since Tackle Tour is constantly delivering information about new technology or products to anglers, and since Tackle Tour has already reported on the new E21 fishing rods (ICAST coverage and award for 2006), and since Tackle Tour previously reported on the Airrus Puls-r rods, and since there have been forum threads on both E21 and Airrus rods, and since I personally would like to know the in depth thoughts of Tackle Tour editors on these award winning rods, I would very much like to see a review of the new Carrot Stix LTX rods, Classic Gold series, or Edge series rods from E21 including comparisons with the Airrus Puls-r or Ultra XL series rods.

From the examples mentioned above, I also conclude there is also either a solid group of Tackle Tour readers, or a smaller group of highly subject interested fishermen who would welcome such a review.

I agree on seeing reviews of 'all around' rods.

for example, my favorite spinning Rod the G. Loomis SJR 782 GL3 (I don't like the handle of the IMX version of this rod that I own).

or perhaps a Loomis SJR782 vs St. Croix Avid 6'6 med power rod?
