Steez or TD-Ito?

Post by E man » Sat Jul 28, 2007 1:20 pm

I need your advice on these 2 reels. I'm on the fence on which one to get. I know they're both great reels but I don't know which one would better compliment my Megabass Super Destroyer. Any advice you guys can shed would be greatly appreciated. :D

I baught that Steez and love it :D .

Performance is close but the egde goes to the Steez no matter what anyone tells ya, they just dont want to admit it. It's super close though. Probably too close. The Steez stock is a monster the TD Ito is a TDZ that still falls short just a tad (enthusiast factor aside) when tweaked to the max just about. Sorry had to say it. ill go hide now.

But, id take a TD Ito over a Steez as well expecially if its going on a Megabass rod like your saying you want to do only for the enthusiast factor and the best Ito reel ever produced on paper and imo ofcourse.

TD-ito for rare factor since you can get a steez anytime and anywhere. My TD-itos are less "finicky" then the steez for casting a large range of baits.

Thanks for all your responses. You've made it easier for me to decide and the Ito it is. I do like the enthusiast factor of the Ito. I can always get a Steez later because they're readily available. Gameover I don't doubt that the Steez is slightly better but like you mentioned, the Ito would probably be a better match up with my megabass. Again thank you guys very much for your valued opinons.

TD-Ito's don't come by easily and they are a rare sight. Every owner should be proud.
