G-Blanks are 'custom' rods, right? What's is a range of weights for rods, if such a thing exists? I hear that stuff like Megabass rods are heavy, but would love to know a 'normal' range, even though such a thing doesn't exist, I suppose.

My G-Blanks comes in at 2.8 oz. The Steez 3.4 oz. St. Croix 4.15 oz. G-Loomis 3.7. All these rod weights are approx for a 6’6” rod. Bigger sticks, flipping or pitching, can add quite a bit.

That's quite a feat then, glass-like action with custom weight in a $150 stick. I might try one of Z-man's :)

Soon enough! I gotta try one of these sticks, there's no way around it. Hopefully there will be a few left by the time I can purchase. (All funds are currently being wasted on useless things like car repairs).
