What is your favorite flippin pitching reel and rod set up? Also I was wondering has anyone used the steez reel for flippin/pitchin?

Favorite flipin/pitching rod I ever owned has been an LTA I sold some time back :oops:. Keep in mind I am not a jig angler and never use this technique. I sometimes force myself to, just to know "I can do it" so to speak. The Steez would be an excellent flip/pitch'n reel imo but I dont use mine for it.

Shimano Days:Conquest 51 with ZPI bearings, 20lb PP on a Crucial 6'10" MH xfast.

Daiwa Days: D.R. tuned Pixuki (Pixy) with 20lb PP on Crucial 6'10" MH xfast (Mattman is building me a dedicated rod for Pixuki).

TDZ 105H mounted on a Dobyns 766 Flip would not trade this combo for the world.

I don't do much flippin', but for pitchin'...my favorite reel is a Metanium Mg7 and my favorite rod to go with it would either be an '07 Kistler 6'9" MH Helium or a BCR853 GLX Loomis..

Now: Shimano 50mg with Powell 682c for light stuff, which is about all I pitch lately.

My new favorite is in the garage, I just haven't put them together yet.
