anyone used any of Kistlers Helium 2 LTX telescopic rods?

I too found the LTX's handle material disconcerting when my neighbor handed it to me the other day. I said nothing about it and neither did he. As far as I know at this time, he's in love with that rod. He's handled my MBs but has had only 'average' rods up until now except for the HE76HC I sold him a few months ago. He's tickled with both Kistlers and pitches jigs with them while he wins money in tournaments with them though he hasn't fished with the LTX yet.
