Can you take a rod with cork grips and change them to EVA?
I am really liking the feel of the dense foam vs the cork grip. Is it possible to just strip off all the cork and then glue an EVA grip on the rod- sliding it up from the butt end to the back of the reel seat. Would this work?
Changing grip material.. Can it be done?

Can it? Yes.
Getting the foam over the butt and slid up to the seat will be interesting. Not impossible...interesting. Foam actually stretches quite a bit.

If you find it hard to slide the EVA over the blank, put some liquid soap down the hole in the EVA.

X-rubber might be another option.
