I hope someone can help me out here... I can't find much review on this reel.

Will I be having problem casting light weight with this reel? for example, 1.5" pencil lead?

Anyone with experience with this model please feel free to coment... Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i have this reel that i use for rockfishing here in the bay area and it casts down to 3/4 oz leadheads fine. i am not sure how heavy your 1.5" pencil lead is but i think that anything lighter than 3/4 oz is going to be an issue and you might want to scale down to a 200 instead which i use with 1/2 oz leadheads without much problems. hope this helps.

How heavy is that pencil lead? This summer I did try out a 300 Conquest using a 1/4 oz worm weight,on a 5/0 xxx strong Owner hook and a 10"power worm on a 7' rod, could not believe it actually wasn't too bad.Hook, worm and weight probably weighed together at least 3/8 oz.Casts were easy 60' plus.If that is a saltwater lure the Conquest may be OK.Hope this littje what I have info helps.
