Cabelas has Tectan again! I received the new catalog today and behold what did I see. Tectan is back! This line is my favorite line. I have looked over a year for a replacement and now I don’t have to.

Most of it is still not in stock,but I will be glad when It does.Still have two spools of it at the house.

IMHO, I have used this line in the 8lb diameter and 13lb test strength on a few different reels and have not been impressed with it's breaking strength or abrasion resistant. I had line break with Palomar knot and one time way up the line!. I would say it's no better than a much cheaper Trilene XL in term of limpness and strength.
