I can't wait to hear the reviews on the Ultra XL. I've pretty much decided to order a Helium but wanted to wait till the XL reviews were in before I made my final decision.

Should be a great rod. I look forward to your review. I wonder if Cabelas will be offering the Ultra XL? I just looked and don't see it on the Cabelas website and historically they have carried only the Co-Matrix. I hope its a hit and they start selling it. My preference is to get everything at Cabelas and minimize the shipping costs.

David, I would think Cableas and BPS will carry them as they have the Co-Matrix. I think that Airrus will probably take care of their regular customers (like me) and then start to send them out to larger suppliers. Ken is a very customer service kind of person. Give him a call or shoot him an email to see when and if he will be shipping to Cabela's.
