Hey everyone,

Just looking through my rod rack this weekend and I realized that I have a lot of new stuff :twisted: Just curious what others have in their rod and reel inventory. Also please list items are considering for future purchases.

haha yea all shimano, just love them i guess and never have any problems with them. Need more rods and reel! 5 is not enough.

Those are all my bass fishing.

Then I have 5 fly rods for saltwater-redington, trout Sage, and bass sage.
cat fishing i have a calcutta with a 7' quantum rod
7' lightning rod with shimano baitcast reel-old school
Shimano clicker/live bait reel- on a quantum tour

Wow, I feel seriously underequipped.

My setups are:

6'6" Ugly Stick Lite w/ Daiwa TDA-153HSTL
5'6" Shakespeare Durango w/ Shimano Spinning reel (?Forgot the model?)

Also a really old Daiwa Spinning reel on a borrowed rod.

But, I am looking for a good travel rod for a fishing trip I have coming up at the beginning of next year. It is a bass fishing trip so I'm looking for a CASTING travel rod. I'm in no big hurry because the trip is still a long way off but I was just going to start looking. Thanks.

I canoe/fish/camp and have three Daiwa Kastors all 2500. They are great reels for this type of fishing.
I rotate rods (trade and sell) so, my personal rods aren't usually too much to brag about. But, they do catch fish.
In the process of upgrading my rods some.
Plan to move sometime this summer and have put some purchases on hold for awhile.

My WTB list:

Daiwa TD-X super tuned
Shimano Biomaster 2500
Daiwa Capricorn 2500
Daiwa Certate 2500

Kistler Helium for the Daiwa TD-X
Spinning rods, I'm still deciding. I have very good luck with ordinary, store bought rods. But, will try to upgrade.

It is excellent to see so many good rods and reels, as in the above posts.
To learn and upgrade, I've come to the right place!

Jeff, I guess you can put it like that...This place just fuels my tackle obsession :twisted: . But as obsessions go, this on I think is pretty healthy.
