The Elite is on order

Post by D.R. » Tue Jan 03, 2006 5:37 pm

I ordered an EC68MXF from St. Croix today. I had it personalized. It will be here in 2 to 3 weeks.
If it is as good as, or better than my Crucial CRC-X68M, then I will be pleased.
I am pairing it witha Chronarch 100B retro fitted with a 100BPV power handle II and spooled with 12 lb. Sufix Siege smoke green.

Do I smell envy in the air?

Cal, I liked the wright up on this rod you did.

I ordered it from St Croix. It will be 2 to 3 weeks to personalize it.

I have an add on to this post.

My wife just walked in from shopping and handed me a 50MG to put on the new Elite when it comes in. I love being mairried to a wife who knows and likes to fish.

Cool deal, I think you will really like the rod. I ordered mine when i worked for a st-croix dealer and also had them personalized really adds a nice touch and talk about envy when others see it.

My wife returned the 50MG for me. After holding it and mounting it on a rod to test, it just did not feel the same as my other equipment. I desided to stick with my original plan and put a CH100B on my rod.

I'm sure your going to love this rod. I have the tournament bass TBC69MXF which has the same specs overall, but is in not in the Legend elite series. My rod is great for cranks, spinnerbaits and topwaters. I use my EC66MHF for jigs. I'm very happy with each. enjoy.
PS. I think the personalizing is a nice touch. Especially when it gets "passed down" children and grandchildren can really feel that they have something special.

Cal has his EC68MXF for sale in the wanted/for sale section. If I didn't already have one, I'd jump on it--nice price.
