Gee, I can't wait to see the exact features of these two reels, and it looks as though Daiwa has adopted those protecting fins found originally on the Shimano Stellas on their new TD-Z.

I hope that's not the TD-Z. I expected it to look better.

It's called the T.D. ZILLION and T.D. AEGIS respectively. You're right, it might not be the TD-Z replacement, maybe just another variation like the big bait special.

It's the TD-Z. Whether or not it's a "special edition" isn't clear. It appears to be as low profile as the TD1Hi or Procaster. It's matched up with new Battler rods.

Looks pretty cool to me. It'll be interesting to see run down on it and the price.

Right now I'm diggin my Fuego, and they're more in my range than the Z's.
