Daiwa VIENTO

Post by Mizmo » Fri Mar 24, 2006 5:20 pm

WOW... is all I can say. I went out to my local fishing retail store (ACE) and the fellows had one hooked up on a CastAway (spelling) rod in the store. They let me goof around with it today and I was amazed on how that little "twitching bar" reeled in the line, hmmm I siad, plus this thing pitched for a mile to boot (not really, but darn close :D ). So I thouht that this would be the cats meow for them smallies and toss'in tubes on the old man Miss. and so I opened the wallet and now am a proud owner of this intresting reel. Again wow, what a reel. But I wish they would have done some thing differnt with the twitching bar and spool release as they seem to be of some type of plastic construction, but can't complain....

ya did right by getting the fuego over the viento. The viento is just a gimmick. You wont see one in a few years. Maybe it will be a collectors item some day.

Mizmo,
I have never had any success using the image hypertext in posting a picture. I use the "Add an Attachment" section to post pictures.

Find your picture on your computer using the "browse" button, and then use the "add attachment" button to add it to your post. You can preview or submit it as you desire.

It's just easier using the attachment add on here, or if you want you can e-mail them to me and I will post them for you. Only takes a min.
