Favorite Buzzbait
I really dig Cavitrons. They stay up pretty easily and I like the color options. The only drawback is that they don't come in sizes over 3/8 oz.
I've done well with Strike King Mini Buzzer's too. They aren't as sexy, but really produce.

Re: Favorite Buzzbait
Its not your normal Buzz bait but I LOVE LOVE LOVE TyLure Buzzbommer Jr. If you are trying to stick big fish and not just fill a quick limit in the morning its the lure to throw of that type!
As for "Normal" Buzz baits my FAV is without a doubt the Fishbelly Helix Ninja This bait KILLS fish its one that will stick a quick limit and it will stick big fish to... if you want a bait that can be fished really slow or burned then this is it! and one of my fav things is that it doesnt catch the air as bad on the cast so you can cast it longer and most importantly be FAR more accurate with it then with most other buzz baits. I have two 9LB+ fish on this bait in 2010 and lots in the 5-7# range, Its a great bait and it holds up well and the wire on the bait holds true better then any other SS wire bait ive used you dont have to re-tune it but every 5-10 fish on AVG I would say.
and next would be the Vision Honeybuzz Classic.
Next would be the Revenge and War Eagle Buzz baits.

You need to try it before judging it.

Cavitron and Revenge for me too. Use the former when it's less windy and the latter for when it's windier. Love how slow you can retrieve the Cavitron.
Re: Favorite Buzzbait
1/4oz Booya Buzz. I have no idea how you guys are fishing those 1/2oz buzzbaits. I usually get bit on the slowest possible retrieve. Most companies don't make the buzzbaits light enough.
Re: Favorite Buzzbait
Cavitron, they just seem to have a different sound to them when I spin the buzzer.

Big Hammer Buzzbait. I prefer a swimbait over a skirt most of the time. Heavy and casts a mile, but forces you to slow down because the the bait will roll above moderate speed (unless you swap out the blade )
I swear I had 500+ posts, I swear it!
Re: Favorite Buzzbait
Another vote for cavitron. They come up faster and stay on top better than any other buzzbait I've used.
