Jig heads with bottom spinners

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

Jig heads with bottom spinners

Post by Ub2m4 » Sat Dec 10, 2011 6:55 am

I am seeing more adds for thes baits. These are swimbait jig heads with the small spinner just under the head. Anyone using and liking them? If so what weights, situations and retrieves? Or is this a gimmick/fAd? Thanks.

Owner flashy minnow is killer on speed worms and skinny dippers but not durable at all The sworming hornet head is more durable but hooks is not as strong. I use both. In tournaments i use the owner and fun fishing i use the hornet. I use the 5/0 and 3/0 owner most with 3/0 being for smaller baits. Retrieve is like a spinnerbait.

Yup - its just like a less bulky spinnerbait... Actually - cold water like we have now (In the northeast) these work well reeling them as slow as possible - letting them tap bottom once in a while during the retrieve... =D>
