Best wacky jig head

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

What is your best wacky jig for light to medium cover?

I've been pouring my own with the Do-it Wacky Head Jig mold http://do-itmolds.com/shop/index.php?ro ... h=1_8_2077. Work great and a lot cheaper than the factory stuff.

I just got some of the Gamakatsu G-Finesse Series Wacky Jig Heads from TW, and I'm really happy with them

I've tried a few and still like the crazy expensive Zappu and Jackall ones. The ones that everyone else pours with that Do-it mold comes with a crap weed gaurd. Haven't found a knockoff with a good weed gaurd yet.

Do-it Molds has a hook that is of unknown manufacture and Mustad has an Ultra Point model for that particular mold.

A shameless plug ... Amistad Tackle Head Banger.

1. IMHO, the only function weedguard on an inchi wacky jighead that isn't super beefy, ie. Revenge. Not knocking the Revenge head, it's just for much heavier cover.

2. Weight properly offset

3. Good price

Steve has done some cool vids and provided a lot of info on it.

These are the ones I use especially the small cylindrical one on the right. The fall is so slow that it is deadly. Rarely makes it to the bottom.

I like Jackall Wacky Jig heads weedless, because of tungsten heads.

I've just been crimping a small piece of shot to the hook itself. I use the gammy "weedless" 1/0 wacky hooks. They're not very weedless as the guards are super limber and bend quite easily. Also after a few fish they get even more limber and are just in the way at that point. I've started rigging my work with the hook so that the worm is threaded through the shank then put over the point again with the point just poking out. Works better as a weedless setup and seems to hookup just fine with softer baits like the true Senko.

I use the Buckeye flick-it. I've tried a ton and this one seems to get bit the most. The football shaped head gives it a different wobble.
