Favorite finesse jig trailers

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

Favorite finesse jig trailers

Post by Fishin Impossible »

I seem to trying harder and harder to find finesse jig trailers. Depending on which jig I use, I want a different trailer. Are there any recommendations?

Strike King 3X ElazTech Denny Brauer Bitsy Chunk. Never really cared for the ElazTech stuff, except for jig trailers. Last forever and highly buoyant.

It depends on what type of finesse jig. If you are talking about Eakins style finesse jigs then I'd go with the Zoom Super Chunk Jr. and the Netbait Paca Chunk. For the small finesse jigs in the micro category I like the Venom Ron Yurko Finesse chunk, the Zoom Tiny Chunk, and for the slightly larger 1/8oz to 3/16oz I like the Tiny Paca Chunk. The "ace in the hole" is the Conquistador Finesse Pro Craw, the smaller version on the 1/8oz to 3/16oz jigs and the larger version on the Eakins style jigs over 1/4oz, those are really good when the fish aren't reacting to movement and you have to dead stick the jig.

What size jig? How finesse are we talking about? I usually put a chompers single tail grub on my finesse jigs. Or a lunker city swimming ribster for a finesse swimbait. Or a Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craw for a finesse craw.
Thanks for the epiphany captain obvious

The yamamoto twin tail grub is awesome. Both the 4 and 5 inch are fairly compact and work well in all water temperatures.
