Horizontal vs Vertical Line tie

If you click on "flipping jigs" on Tackle Warehouse there are vertical line tie and horizontal line tie offerings even though they are called 'flipping' jigs.

Curious if one line tie is better/worse for timber, docks, grass etc. I know the head design has alot to do with it as well. Curious to hear your experience.

I have been using O.S.P. Zero One jigs specifically because the line tie orientation is perpendicular to the shaft of the hook.

I think from personal experience it puts the hook into better position for a solid, penetrating hookset into the roof or thick part of the lip.
