What Creature Bait is Your Favorite?
Hey guys. It seems like just using a worm isn't always enough to get the bass to inhale your lure. When the bite is slow and the bass are finicky, I like to throw creature baits. I'm not sure why, but doing this always seems to produce fish when worms can't. My favorite creature baits are: ZOOM Baby Brush Hogs, YUM F2 Mighty Bug, and the Trigger X Aggression Moe. What are your favorites and why?

My situation is different, if I'm getting bit with worms but mostly small fish, that is when I like the creature. I keep my selection of creatures simple, sweet beaver for wood, brush hogs for weeds, and a Trigger X Big Moe for dragging across flats with weeds and wood mixed.

I like rigging em with a screw-in bullet weight(which I forget the proper name of because I've been awake for 28hrs), or on a jig. They're not cheap, but god do they catch fish.

Are they worth it...that's subjective, as someone who pay's $30+ for a crankbait, I might be the wrong person to ask lol.mprestonSEK wrote: Dang those are pricey! Are they worth it?
I like em, they're unique & create alot of movement. I caught a few big ones back to back on them so It's a confidence thing I guess. I don't fish jigs much so I don't go thru em as often as some people. If I did, I probably wouldn't load up on them unless I could find a dealer her in the states. It's the shipping that hurts imo.
here's the official page for em(google chrome translation)- http://www.imakatsu.co.jp/products/pro_a034e.html

I see a few people saying the baby brush hog. Has anyone had the same success on the super hog?

The 4 main ones I use are the baby brush hog, baby paca craw, speed craw, and of course sweet beavers (420's & smallie)
