One of my most versatile finesse baits...killer weightless action, and catching chunks of both species off the bottom on Keitech's 1/16oz head.

They do make really good chatterbait trailers. Makes a Jackall Break Blade very erratic. I need to try them on one of those heads though.

Threw them for redfish once after catching 20+ slots out of a school on xraps and the bite was slowing down. Rigged it on a weighted ewg swimbait hook and caught the biggest fish of the day \:D/

Unweighted EWG they have a subtle shimmy on the fall that is deadly...on a slow steady wind it wanders and does a half roll side to side. Very underrated bait!

I used to use them like crazy rigged on the tiny Keitech football shakyhead jigs. Great for fishing in current and they hold up pretty well with the plastic screw keeper.

Are we mainly referring to the 4”?
I have some 3” incoming that I want to try for searun brown trout (1/32-1/16 jig head)...

I've fished the 3" on a dropshot to some success, I would wager on a 1/32 head (and perhaps #2 hook) it would mirror the action of the 4" perfectly.

The 5" shad impact has virtually the same body/nose dimensions as the 4", just elongated.

The 3" is a much, much smaller bait, all around, than the 4".
