Some New Stuff

Post by goldrod » Mon Apr 06, 2020 5:43 pm

Received the Stroker Craw by 6th sense
D&M Punch craw
Missile Baits 6.5 Quiver worm ( really excited on this one )
Savage gear DC ( dual Chamber) frog

My initial observation on this frog is that the weight in the back is covered
It’s like it’s coated in a top coat which I like
I hate it when the weight comes off the frog which in my opinion renders it useless.

The quiver worm is going to be something I’m going to stock pile for sure.
The punch craw is about a $1 per lure so I will see how durable and productive it is. I like the size of the lure and it isn’t too thin.

Just thought I’d let you guys know in case you were looking at the same stuff
I did get some swagger weights in but I have to put the heat shrink inside which just gives me more confidence when using floro

The Quiver Worm really caught my eye as well. I'm interested to see how it does for you.

The Hook went through the wife's blanket thingy.. its so soft
I nearly screamed when I saw it.. goto finesse this out. WTF is right because I was looking to do some punching when it turned into a finesse fest!

Sweet! I'm going to give the 4.5" a go t-rigged this Spring here once our season opens, and the 6.5" once the waters warm a bit.

How are you fishing the quiver worm? On a texas rig? I think Crews designed that bait with the tokyo rig in mind....
