Tubes

Post by goldrod » Wed Jun 10, 2020 8:25 pm

I found a box of Flippin vibra tubes
I think I’ll get one wet this weekend
Anyone still using tubes to flip pitch with?

I do, and I also C-rig them and stuff a piece of a foam float into the body to make it ride up off the bottom. It's a fish catcher offshore during the summer, on humps and points.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Tubes have always been a smallmouth staple for me. I generally only use tubes from a company called River Rock custom baits. I like to rig them all terrain style, and play with them in the rocks.

Great tubes, but man they are pricey. I like Dry Creek tubes as well and they are sold in bulk.

I fish them mostly on a Draggin'/Crawler/Sled head for the most part, occasionally t-rigging them with an unpegged 1/16oz weight if I am going to be throwing them in heavier current.
