You can only take one ….
You can only take one ….
…. style of plastic on your next trip. What are you taking ?
I’m torn between tubes and flukes with tubes getting the nod. I don’t fish a lot of plastics but tubes are ridiculously versatile and work well in the entire water column. I’ll go a step further and will take only green pumpkin and still have confidence I’ll get bit.
Let’s hear it …

A heavy selection of worms
Re: You can only take one ….
Considering my PB is an 8lb 8oz LMB on an O.S.P DoLive Stick, I'll go with the fluke ...

Zoom mag lizard. It actually is the one plastic I keep in the Xterra, just in case.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I keep a pack of 6" Zoom Lizards in Pumpkinseed/Chart tail in one of those "In Case Of Emergency Break Glass" thingys.

Has to be a 5” senko on a 1/8 oz Swimbait hook, works everywhere

Xterra huh? Very nice. I drive a 2010 Xterra OR myself.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:36 pmZoom mag lizard. It actually is the one plastic I keep in the Xterra, just in case.
To answer the question, I would have to chose creature baits.

Grande Bass Rattlesnake 4.75" in Vicks #20 or Trophy Hunter. Brian.
Are you fishing or aimlessly casting around?
Re: You can only take one ….
Senko's in a few different colours. Works great either weightless t-rig or wacky rigged on my local lake.

Side note: here's my 2008 Xterra. It's the 3rd one I've owned.Craiger12 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 4:42 pmXterra huh? Very nice. I drive a 2010 Xterra OR myself.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:36 pmZoom mag lizard. It actually is the one plastic I keep in the Xterra, just in case.

Ned rig
Re: You can only take one ….
chasing primarily smallmouth and walleyes, id choose a 3.2" swimbait that i make and an assortment of jigheads. i fish them from early spring through late fall and catch fish everywhere i go on them. also you can use them in a pinch when the tail gets bittin off as a ned rig!
Re: You can only take one ….
Would have to be a 6" fat Roboworm for me--dropshot and Texas rig has always worked well for me no matter where I've used it. Catching big 5-8 pound trout on a dropshot is fun as hell!

I may have to go beaver/craw style. Micro ones for finesse bites and the "normal" ones for Texas Rig, punching and such.
