MLF/BPT opinion

Post by Johnny A »

I've liked MLF since the introduction. BPT is starting to shake out the bugs, I'm liking BPT too.

Funny to me that I thought I would follow the guys I know. Instead I am much more interested in the Elites. I like 5 best fish over most fish. Just my 2 cents.

I feel like there is not easy access to watch or follow bpt. Haven’t payed one bit of attention to it. I also don’t like the format, so I just started to follow the new guys as I find the elite series and flw more interesting.

If BPT had a criteria, like all fish have to be 17" or more to weigh for some events, It'd shake things up a bit (depending on what lake of course).

I found it interesting that a lot of former Elites returned back to BASS, A few even being required to ay the 25 Gs per year to break contract...

The five fish format just fits some guys better. The MLF format is hard on the ticker. Guys like Ike are even more likely to explode in this format . A camera in your face all of the time and Scoretracker add a lot of stress. I like the coverage of both. I watch the live stuff when I can. The main reason I watch is to see the prevailing techniques and patterns. This has really advanced the average bass anglers skills, but it's not so good for the fish! :(
