Is it a single 'one knocker' type of rattle or multiples ?

What a coincidence. I was just researching these a couple of nights ago. Looks fantastic. Just wonder if trout will like them - both wild and stocked.

I don't see why not. I've gotten stockers on the bait at the very bottom of the picture - a Matzuo Nano Crank. It's roughly the same body dimensions and weight as the Z Viberultralight wrote:What a coincidence. I was just researching these a couple of nights ago. Looks fantastic. Check out Chris’s article on them at Finesse Fishimg. He’s catching trout on them.uljersey wrote:I don't see why not. Ever in search of single hook UL baits I was thrilled to discover the Z-Viber and ordered two. Had great success fishing for crappies in the snow on one of the only open water ponds I could find in northern NJ. Cast great on a Kuying Teton SUL spinning rod. Was able to perform various retrieves and figure out what the crappies wanted. Came home and ordered 8 more. Can't wait to try these on rivers and streams.

Chris, now you've really got me excited about this lure! How were you fishing it?
Re: Ooooohhh ... me like
Those z-vibers did pretty well for me as well last year. I really love the eurotackle line of microfinesse soft plastics and have caught a lot of fish with them! When I was throwing the z-viber last year for trout they seemed to like quick rips followed by a pause. They would usually hit very aggressive!

Reasonably slow retrieve with slight pauses and pulses.Knotty wrote:Chris, now you've really got me excited about this lure! How were you fishing it?

I need to get some of those, I see they are making 1/8 now as well. I kill bass on 1/8 rattle traps all the time
Re: Ooooohhh ... me like
Ordered 3 after seeing this post. Should have got some more for my ice fishing bag, we'll see how they work out.
