That's a good looking color. I've never seen that one before.

One of my very favorite Ultra LIght hard baits is the Rapala Countdown CD-1 minnow.

This bait is 1/16 oz, casts like a bullet, has sharp hooks and has that irresistible Rapala balsa action. Very versatile. Nickname is KILLER.

I have a question for you guys, anyone change from treble hooks to single hook? What size and where to buy?

I use Owner S-75m hooks. I get them from ebay or I think Japan Lure Shop.

Mini Fat Rap. It's like 4g, but also the only one I have a lot of experience with and faith in.

Sorry for the slow response on this —

I’ve been picking them up on Ebay.

The top poppers in the middle are the heaviest in the pic at 2g and the smaller poppers also in the middle are the lightest at probably less than 1g. All from AE.

Not sure why I didn't remember the old Yo Zuri Aile Goby and Aile Kill Fish lures.

Snap Shad
Arms Shad
Arms Minnow

All great lures, back in the days.

Funny you mentioned those old Yo-Zuri baits with the articulated tails. The Wally Worlds in my region all have Yo-Zuri/Duel dump boxes on the bottom shelf. They're a mixture of salt & fresh water baits. I've been grabbing these when I can find them (selection varies by store, never know what you'll find) I've never seen them, googling them shows them to be an overseas item as far as I can tell.
