XF50 workout ...
Got a good day in with the XF50/Kuying 662L combo. Got a nice variety of fish on a good variety of baits. The combo performed flawlessly, I was happy (until my chatterbait came apart during a retrieve and I ended up with just the snap & blade ) ...

That rod and reel are a winning combo and a great way for anyone to try BFS w/o having to make huge investment.
Was the chatterbait that came apart the little one from Z-man? Those plastics are nice looking but always split down the middle.

I have the reel, the carbontex washers and I picked up the handle to rough up the metal washer. I'm getting antsy, can;t wait to fish this on the Dragon.

what hooks did you put on the trap? I'm looking to try a bunch of inline singles in lieu of trebles

Yeah, it was a Z-man. It wasn’t the micro sized 1/16 one, it was the next one up, maybe 1/8 ?
As for the plastics, I’m assuming you mean the ones that come with the non skirted chatter baits. I wasn’t impressed by the ones that came with it, so I super glued a 1” grub to it instead. Overall still a decent little bait, it did well while it lasted.
