Shimano Trout One casting rods

Post by Smalleyez » Sat Jun 15, 2019 8:31 am

Any comments on the Shimano Trout One casting rods?

I just took delivery of the 5' model (NS B50UL) and it sure seems light, but most likely good for casting little lures in tight trout creeks. I sure hope i never snag a carp with it! I think an 18" brown will test its strength. Should be fun on Gils.

It's going to live attached my Alphas Air Stream Custom which also came in today. :big grin:

What type guides, Alconites, SICs, etc are on yours? I was trying to find out but I can't find it...

Thanks

Thanks! I can't wait to catch some big bluegills on it!

I've been looking for that info myself. The tags are all in Japanese. The frames look stainless, and I have no idea what the inserts are made out of. The inserts are black.
