Went ahead and pulled the trigger and ordered the Spool for the BMAX3 with the hopes it will fit the Revo4 S. If it does not fit I will get a reel it does fit. Will update everyone in about 3 weeks when the spool gets here. Thanks for the help.

I confirmed today that the current gen Revo X and Silvermax spools are the same size. I was able to swap them in BPS display reels. I bet the Revo 4 S has the same spool as the Revo 4 X. It looks like it does. This would mean that the Aliexpress spools for Black Max 3 and Silvermax would fit Revo 4 S and Revo 4 X. They will not fit Revo 4 SX.

Thanks for the update. My spool is on its way so I will know for sure in a couple of weeks. Problem is my Ace Hawk CU Double rod package was damaged. I was wondering why it just showed up at the local post office with no updates on shipping once it left China. Refused to sing for package and contacted Ace Hawk since I ordered it from there store.

Just letting people know, the Silvermax spool will fit the Revo4 S. I got my spool from Aliexpress and put it in the revo s. It fits and I am looking forward to trying it out this weekend. Now to order some ceramic bearings.

Good to know. Those $35 9.5 g Black Max BFS spools are confirmed to fit Revo 4 X and Revo 4 S.

Just picked up another Revo 4 S NIB for 46.79. Also scored a NIB Sedona 1000 for 23.96.

I bought revo sx from amazon.co.jp for half the price and im very happy with the reel.

Just tested this weekend and with 1.5pe casting distance is amazing.Also really friendly reel.

I was able to cast with 2/6 centrifugal brake and magnetic brakes off , still no backlash.Both 30gr and 14 gr lures reached good distance..
