I mainly like throwing the jig and plastic but do float fish quite a bit as well. Had some very good crappie and gill action last few trips.

Rod is yamaga blue current 74 II JIGHEAD
Reel is Ballistic 1000 FW LT
4 lb copolymer

Nice first post....enthusiast level gear AND fish! =D> =D> =D> Welcome to the forum!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

What Copoly line do you use? I love YoZuri, but am having a little trouble finding 4# lately.

Almost exclusively SOS in 4 lb. Its low stretch is what kept bringing me back from flouro. I’m very braid spoiled and still use it often but the SOS is great line and keeps me in the water longer with no line issues from mono or flouro and not having to retie leaders to braid.

Nice man. I also love ultralight fishing using both spinning and baitcaster (about 8 setups). It is much more fun to catch huge slab or big bluegill with spinning (I felt baitcaster is overpower).
My main setup is Speedstyle S632UL with Ballistic FW 2500S-C (6lb Finns braid or Tatula LT 2000 6lb nanofil)
