High viz flouro in US
High viz flouro in US
Some of my fishing buddies want to get into ultralight and I need 2-4# high viz flouro available in the US to recommend. Preferably line with accurate ratings, not the 2# that is really 4# ridiculousness. If accurate stuff doesn't exist here then I'll just have them get 2#.
I like Seaguar R18 Yellow Hunter but have to order that from Japan. Don't think any of them are ready for ester, plus that's also a Japan purchase.
FWIW, I'm pretty happy with domestically available Kastking Kovert flouro. Seems to have an accurate rating but not available in high viz.
Thanks in advance.

Have you considered the Sunline Bite Marker System fluoro? It isn't uniformly hi-vis, but it does have a repeating 45cm hi-vis between 65cm of clear.

That’s the line I thought might be a good choice. Not entirely a high vis, but with the marker colors, it should or could be an option.CM_Stewart wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 5:24 amHave you considered the Sunline Bite Marker System fluoro? Don't know how I missed that? Thanks Chris.CM_Stewart wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 5:24 amHave you considered the Sunline Bite Marker System fluoro? It isn't uniformly hi-vis, but it does have a repeating 45cm hi-vis between 65cm of clear.
Still open to other suggestions as well. Finding UL lines is getting a bit easier in the US but add the high-vis requirement and there just don't seem to be any options.
