I just stumbled online the other day on some US company called Old 18 Outfitters in Texas. Seems like they make a 7' Light powered bait casting rod model. Seemed to be backordered so they must build to order or something.

So I went to get a Proflex 2 but this time in a 6'3" light rather than UL, my current UL is just too soft, but now they are almost $100 instead of around $60. Do their prices fluctuate? And more importantly, is there an alternative here in the states that is a touch stronger than an UL? Thanks.
What about a longer rod?

I have read about this rod and it seemed like an interesting stick that nots expensive.

I've seen these Phenix rods I think they are? They seem to fit the bill good...

Phenix Feather 7'1" light casting rod.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
